Book Details

One woman.

One luxury dream home.

One lonely life.

The condominium complex was tall and elegant, and the warm balmy breezes held promise of a luxuriously tranquil lifestyle unlike the rat race of the city life she had been used to.

Moving from Philadelphia to the Pepper Isles was a dream fulfilled, but she had never expected to be the only occupant of an otherwise vacant two hundred unit condominium complex, no matter how splendid it was.

Building B-2, ninth floor, beautiful ocean view…all to herself. A gorgeous Olympic pool…all to herself. An entire life…now all to herself.

Forced to come to terms with her loneliness and her past, the heroine of Empty Complex struggles to find new friends in town and avoid the ones she has met, but come to fear, while she strives to remain buoyant in her new and lonely day to day existence.

There are laughs to be shared and tears to be shed in this poignant journey, but as you reach the surprise ending of this tale, you will be glad you paid a visit to the Pepper Isles.

Book Excerpt

“So the mystery is solved then.” she said. “I don’t know why you are so worried about some guy that paid for your drink and gave you a small gift, although” she added, “I guess on a scale of possibilities, he could be somewhere between a nice guy that would like to get to know you or.” she stopped speaking and focused on the three scoops of ice cream in the plastic cup. “Or what?” I demanded. She gave me that disconcerting look I always hated to see on her. “A stalker.”
