Forced to come to terms with her loneliness and her past, the heroine of Empty Complex struggles to find new friends in town and avoid the ones she has met, but come to fear, while she strives to remain buoyant in her new and lonely day to day existence.

She gave me that disconcerting look I always hated to see on her. “A stalker.”
