Book Details

Let the sunshine in. Life is a gift to be cherished.

"The wind blew the leaves from the trees away. While raindrops came down my window today. Then turned into snowflakes by the end of the day. And there was sunshine to melt them away. Then there were sunflowers." This book is a revealing and honest story of a woman's struggle to become free from the tortures of mental illness. An unstable childhood, a disturbing emotional environment, the promiscuous 1970's and a chemical imbalance made it enormously difficult for this woman to overcome the obstacles. Find out the secret how she survived by taking this entertaining and amazing journey. ** SUPPORT MENTAL HEALTH **

Book Excerpt

“You have done a great job capturing your memories and committing them to paper. I must say that I am a firm believer in learning from other people’s life experiences. The way you share your stories and wisdoms and present your ideas and findings is great! You have such a nice style of writing. Your words come across with a certain experience that I cannot put into words. I can tell that you have done a significant amount planning and preparation in crafting your work. You have really considered your audience in your writing by adding details and adding a voice that is simply wonderful – very familiar and easy to follow. Your book is well written. I wish more people would take the time to write their stories down like you have. Reading a biography broadens our vision, and we learn to put ourselves in the shoes of other people even if they don't expect us to. We develop empathy and humility through reading other people’s life stories. With that being said, I am sure your work will be embraced by many. We can learn so much from reading the stories of other’s lives and experiences. Bravo on a piece well crafted! Reading other people’s stories sheds light on the possibilities of life and helps to knit people together into a community, even when people have never met. There is something innately human about the sharing of our stories; it is true that it benefits both the teller and the hearer.” Sincerely, Lisa Conner, Manuscript Review, OUTSKIRTS PRESS ** CHECK OUT KINDLE VERSION ON AMAZON 0NLY $9.99 CLICK SAMPLE for FREE!
