This is based on a true story that chronicles a girl’s voyage into womanhood. As a very young girl, Eleanor fell head over heels in love with a man older than her father. Her story is one of a long and continuous love. It is also about destiny, emotion, tenderness, and weaknesses that are instilled in the best of us. Some of her actions might be perceived as depraved and sinful, and perhaps that is a proper assessment, but no one can deny that she was a woman who loved deeply and honestly.
About Charles H. Ham
Charles H. Ham is known best as a western writer. He has left his genre somewhat with this story, as a friend has asked him to tell about her life. As an “Old Cowboy,” he has enjoyed living the sometimes hard, but slow life, breaking horses and tending cows. Now at 83 years old, it seems the best thing to do is write down his reminiscences.
