Book Excerpt

Suddenly, a stealth helicopter that nobody heard flew over the top of the cliff to the right and fired a missile blowing up the helicopter escorting the motorcade into a huge fireball with a loud boom.
"Holy shit" Mark yelled.
Suddenly, the black sedans from the north reached the front of the motorcade at almost the same time that the helicopter exploded. The first two cars came to a screeching halt and stopped trunk to trunk turned sideways blocking the highway, the two cars behind them did the same making the blockade two cars deep on either side of the highway.
All the cars in the motorcade came to a sudden halt.
Mike spun around and yelled into the walkie "car six, back up, back up!"
Then, the four sedans from the south reached the back of the motorcade, their brakes squealed as they came to a halt turned sideways stopping trunk to trunk. The following two cars did the same creating a two deep blockade of the highway behind the motorcade on either side of the highway.
The rear car in the motorcade came to a halt, they were trapped.
The stealth helicopter flew over the top of the motorcade, spun around over the ocean and fired another missile at the first car in the motorcade engulfing it in flames with another loud boom.
Stacey screamed as Mike yelled into the walkie "everybody out of your cars!"
Mike, Mark and Stacey bolted out of their vehicle and the driver ran toward the front of the motorcade. Mike led them to the cliffs and they found a little crevice carved into the hillside that they could hide behind.
Mike yelled into the walkie "eagle two back up, we're taking heavy missile fire from an unidentified helicopter, what is your e.t.a.?"
The response came back "five minutes."
Mike yelled back into the walkie "we're not going to be here in five minutes!"
From the back of the motorcade they heard somone yell "incoming!" Seconds later the rear car in the motorcade exploded from the missile fired by the stealth helicopter. The motorcade was now blocked by the four sedans in the front, four sedans in the back and two flaming cars, one in front and one in back.
Mike yelled "shit" and suddenly bolted from their crevice hiding spot and ran toward their car.
Mark yelled "Mike you crazy bastard get back here!"
Stacey screamed "Mike what the fuck are you doing?"
Mike reached the back of the car and popped the trunk. As he did this, he started to hear gunfire erupt from the front and back of the motorcade. Mike grabbed the new compact rocket launcher and one missile from the trunk and ran back toward their hiding spot. As he ran, he heard another yell from the front of the motorcade "incoming!" The second car in the front of the motorcade boomed into a fireball.
Mike froze looking in that direction and whispered "Vickers."
"Mike" Stacey screamed to bring Mike out of his trance.
Mike ran back to their hiding place and after looking at the rocket launcher briefly, he turned it on, loaded the missile in the back.
Mark said "do you know what you're doing?"
Mike said "I read a brief memo on these babies, I just hope I remember the firing sequence and that it works."
