Imagine spending your entire life living for everything and everyone EXCEPT the Lord. Imagine believing you were really living free, only to find out at the end of your life that you spent a majority of it trying to please everyone except the one whom really mattered, God. Imagine that no matter what you acquired, no matter who was in your life, no matter what great goal you achieved or accomplished, there was still something missing, that there was still a void, something more you needed. Imagine this void being about the size of a football field and though you tried to fill it with all manners of relationships, friendships, children, family, careers and other worldly possessions and addictions, none of these things could rid you of this void. I want you to understand you are not imagining these feelings. The void that you feel is alive and real and no matter how much you try to put other things in its place, they will never feed you or fill you. Journey inside "The Beginning" and discover what God has for you.

Saturday, October 7, 2006. It was the day my life changed forever. Not the birth of my oldest daughter or the marriage to my husband, not even the moment I graduated from Junior College. But that day, October 7th, was the day I opened my heart to God. I don’t know where I was prior to that day. Wandering around incognizant or simply completely oblivious (1st Corinthians 15:34), but that day, that beautiful glorious day, I found the Lord. Oh don’t get me wrong; I was saved a long time ago. I believed that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and was resurrected on the third day, but October 7th is when I began to fall in love with Him. That is the day I began to see with different eyes and feel with a different heart. That is the day I knew my life would never be the same, I had found the Lord.
