Penny, Bosco, Rajah and Doug take you on an adventure of mystery and suspense. During their daily lives on the farm these brave dogs learn many important lessons. Penny leads her sisters and Doug on an adventure to find out who is causing trouble on her quiet farm.

The goats started running around their pen. They were bleating loudly and kicking up their back feet.
"Maaaaa!" they were yelling, "Maaaaa!"
Penny went to the goat pen to investigate.

"What's all the trouble?" asked Penny.
Penny is responsible for protecting all the farm animals.
"Why are you running around your pen?"
Finally the youngest goat Bubba stopped running and explained.
"We were sleeping in the sun and something jumped on us!" Bubba was looking around wildly trying to see what had startled him.

"When will they be here? Are they coming now? What do they look like? Are they friendly?" Doug is full of questions. He is always full of questions. Since he is still a puppy, Doug is still learning about the farm.

"They will be here when they get here." Penny tells Doug.
Penny is the leader and is always serious. Penny is responsible for keeping all the farm animals safe. She keeps her sisters Bosco and Rajah safe too, and of course Doug, the pesky little brother.

Stella and Pete, the city dogs, are coming to stay for a week. Their owners are going out of town. Stella and Pete don't like staying in the dennel. They have only been to the farm once.

About Christine LoBiondo

Chris lives in Colorado with her family and farm animals. They live in a beautiful valley that is full of all types of wildlife. Her daughter Jessica was the inspiration for starting this series of books. To make the long drives home from school seem shorter, many stories were told of the animals in the valley. Many more books are in the works as the farm animals continue their adventures.
