Marketing Materials Agreement

1. Marketing materials comprise any combination of business cards, postcards, bookmarks, greeting cards, small posters, large posters or postage stamps as defined below.

2. Business cards are standard business card sized, 2" x 3.4" on 100 lb. laminated card stock. The front of the business card is your cover in full color (unless your cover is black/white). Differences in the ratio between the cover size and the business card size are left to our designer's discretion. The back of the business card contains author contact information. Unless specifically changed by the author in advance of printing, the business card will contain the author's first and last name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, and book webpage URL as defined in the Author's Center at the time of design.

3. Postcards are 4" x 6" on 100 lb. laminated card stock. The front of the postcard is your cover in full color (unless your cover is black/white). Differences in the ratio between the cover size and the postcard size are left to our designer's discretion. The back of the postcard contains book synopsis/marketing information taken directly from the Author's Webpage at the time of design.  If the full extent of the synopsis/marketing information cannot be included due to space, the content will be edited at Outskirts Press' discretion unless specifically arranged by the author in advanced of design. The book webpage URL and suggested retail price will also be included on the back, along with empty space designated for postal addresses, stamps, etc.

4. Bookmarks are 2" x 6" on 100lb. laminated card stock. The front of the postcard is your cover in full color (unless your cover is black/white). Differences in the ratio between the cover size and the bookmark size are left to our designer's discretion. The back of the bookmark contains book synopsis/marketing information taken directly from the Author's Webpage at the time of design.  If the full extent of the synopsis/marketing information cannot be included due to space, the content will be edited at Outskirts Press' discretion unless specifically arranged by the author in advanced of design. The book webpage URL will also be included on the back.

5.  Greeting cards are 4.25”x6” on Premium 14 pt. gloss cover stock.  The message and graphic for the front of the card is determined by Outskirts Press and cannot be changed. You can see the graphic by clicking on the question mark for the option.  The inside-left of the greeting card contains a full-color image of your book’s cover, the title of the book, the author’s name, and webpage URL. The inside-right is blank. Greeting cards arrive flat, are scored for easy folding, and include envelopes.

6. Small posters are 11" x 17" on 100 lb. gloss cover stock. The front of the poster is your cover in full color (unless your cover is black/white). Differences in the ratio between the cover size and the poster size are left to our designer's discretion. The back of the poster is blank (white).

7. Large posters are 23" x 35" on 100 lb. gloss cover stock. The front of the poster is your cover in full color (unless your cover is black/white). Differences in the ratio between the cover size and the poster size are left to our designer's discretion. The back of the poster is blank (white).

8. The Custom First Class U.S. Post Stamps are sold in quantities of 120. Each stamp is for first-class US Postage and works exactly as if you purchased a first-class stamp from the United States postal office. The unique difference is that each stamp is customized to feature the front cover of your book in full-color.

9. Author understands that while we do our best to catch such occurrences, any typographical errors or misspellings in the Author's webpage information at the time of design may appear on the final printed materials. Said errors are not grounds for a refund or replacement. It is the author's responsibility to ensure their author webpage data is free of typographical errors or misspellings prior to ordering marketing materials.

10. Author understands that different marketing materials may be produced and/or delivered at different times. It is the author's responsibility to receive the delivery. Outskirts Press is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen materials that are delivered and left at the Author's ship-to address in the Author's absence.

11. Please be advised that residents of some U.S. states may be liable for sales or use tax and may be required to file a sales or use tax return when purchasing tangible products from an online retailer. State taxes vary by state so if you are unsure of your responsibilities, check with your tax advisor.

12. Marketing Materials fees are non-refundable.
