Book fairs take place all over the world. Authors meet their fans, get introduced to new publishers or agents, and interact with other writers to further their networking connections. If you are currently in the process of writing or seeking a publisher, attending a book fair is a wonderful opportunity to meet other professionals in the field. If you have already published your book, international book fairs represent an important marketing component -- showcasing your published book to agents, rights buyers, translation buyers, and larger, conglomerate publishers.

THE LA TIMES FESTIVAL OF BOOKS

Outskirts Press was excited to meet literally hundreds of our current and new authors at the recent LA Festival of Books. One of our wonderful (and popular - see the author testimonial below to the left) Author Representatives, Tina, was on hand to meet with new authors and showcase some of our recent and exciting newly-published titles. We met many wonderful and talented authors at the event and shared in the joy of writing and publishing. Look for many of their titles to be published soon.

THE LONDON BOOK FAIR

Our authors exhibit at book fairs around the country and around the world! And when they can't be at the largest book events in the publishing business personally, Outskirts Press helps their books get exposure anyway! The London Book Fair is one of the stops on our Global Book Tour. 25 Outskirts Press books were represented at this world-famous event, filled to over-flowing with publishers, agents, authors, and translation rights representatives.

These authors are either participants in our Global Book Tour package, or they contacted the Marketing COACH to specifically be represented at the London Book Fair.

In the coming days, the Marketing COACH will distribute a post show summary, along with all the acquired leads generated at the show to each participating author.
