This book consists of ten chapters that God has identified to me as areas in the Christian body that needs special attention. I have broken these ten subjects down in such a fashion as to alleviate all the traditional and useless information some of you have been taught. You will only find the truth in this book backed by scriptures from the Holy Bible. I have made myself available for God to feed revelation through me to the body of Christ! I understand that God's people must be equipped with proper knowledge so that we may be more able to win the souls of the lost for Christ. This material has been dually formatted to serve both as a tool for your personal growth as well as a ten week group discussion to fit whatever your needs may be.

Be the best at what you have been called to do.

Master your craft! Don't try to be like someone

else. God has made you a certain way because

there is a need in the kingdom for someone like

you. I told you in the first paragraph of this

chapter that God specifically made you a

specialist in your gifted area. If you don't be

faithful to your calling, he will raise someone

else up who will be faithful. If you are not

certain of what your calling is, don’t be found

doing nothing. Fill a role where you are needed

to assist in the work that has to be done in the

kingdom until your time has come. One of the most

important things you can do is to learn to be a

role player. Any effective leader once had to be

an effective follower. Don't get caught up in

whether or not you have a title. Don't let the

title dictate how you appreciate being one of

God's children. In the Pee Wee leagues everyone

wants to be a star. Every young football player

has dreamed about waking up and seeing his name

on the front cover of the daily newspaper.

Unfortunately, these highlights are often

reserved for the “glory players.” The players

that play the positions of running back, quarter

back, or linebacker. Seldom do you see an

offensive or defensive lineman making the front

page. As a young or inexperienced athlete, this

can be disheartening. As you mature in your game

and progress one level to the next, you also

understand more of why you are qualified to play

the position that you do. Here is an excellent

example. In high school, I was qualified to play

fullback. I was fast enough and strong enough to

make a great impact in that position. After high

school, I learned that on the collegiate level

there were other gifted athletes just as I was. I

can look back and observe the changes that

affected me throughout my career as a college

athlete. I learned that my skills and abilities

that were once good enough for the full back

position in high school were considered only

average in college. In the world of collegiate

athletics, there is no room for “average” on the

playing field. I was forced to see that my real

gift was playing on the defensive line. My speed

and agilities along with raw strength was the

perfect combination for a great defensive

lineman. So with this new knowledge, I began to

work in my specialized area. I didn't get upset

or pout because I couldn't run the ball anymore.

I had to be mature enough to know that the team

only wins when everyone is operating in their

respected roles effectively. As a Christian, you

have to carry that very same attitude. Everybody

can't preach from the pulpit. Everyone can not be

the pastor! You should fill in the roles you can

do until God calls you to your respective place.

When this time comes, a mature Christian won't

complain or cry about not being able to do what

they thought they should be doing. This whole

kingdom thing is all about God anyway. It always

has been all about God. If you want to serve God

and do your part in the kingdom, you need to

discover the true you.
