Being a Firefighter or a Boy Scout takes a certain quality of bravery and sacrifice that most people will never have. It also takes strength to do the right thing when the right thing is not popular or cool. The right thing sometimes is not following the crowd, but making your own choices. You don't have to be a Firefighter or a Boy Scout to make the right choices.
With over thirty years as a firefighter paramedic, Captain and still a Boy Scout, I take the practice of fire prevention seriously.
