“This book weaves beautifully the 21st century experience of the 800th anniversary with the rich history of the Dominican Nuns. It has heartfelt words from so many who love this community. It is a joy to read and savor.”
— Peggy Weber, Catholic Communi- cations writer, columnist and producer

“Amazing story of the Dominican Nuns...their beginnings... dreams... adventures... tragedies... hopes... courage... resurgence... expansion... friends... life of prayer... love for God and for you. Never before written in a single book."
—Donna McCarthy, editor and playwright

"Your book has been a source of inspiration and great joy. I finished reading it In just a few days, it was hard to put down. The witnessing, stories, history...Reading the chapters 21 & 22 and others on the history was special and full of wonderful info. The struggles, fires, movement, and any other negative things that happened to the Nuns was fascinating. No matter what happened to them at anytime, they kept trusting in God. You could see that any obstacle they came up against, they over came it with faith. Many tremendous examples of Divine Providence. Wow! One fine example of God's great love and Divine Providence is found on page 174 of the hard cover. Bishop O'Leary welcomes the Nuns to Springfield. Mother Mary Hyacinth O.P. from Catonsville, Maryland responds to the Bishops question " Do you think you can start a foudation with just five dollars?" She answered, "I can't, but our Blessed Mother can."
—James Perkins

“It’s woven together in an articulate and fascinating manner. I recommend this book to everyone.”
—Amy Gracey, editor

“...very well done literary masterpiece...You will be inspired by her work...”
—Elizabeth Hanlon
