Inz pondered whether his quest was already coming to an end and not even a day had passed by entirely! The young man had a disturbing realization that he had never really ever been in a life threatening situation before. Going on hunts with his brothers was one thing since that involved playing the part of the predator. Being on the other end, as the prey, was turning out to be an entirely different experience all together. Yet somehow, he had figured deep inside that this quest would bring a few of such situations. Ka snorted a bit, clearly covered in anticipation and waiting for a command from his rider. The dira’s eyes were asking for the next move. Then, before Inz could gather all his thoughts the wolves broke into a full stride towards him with loud snarls. In that one dangerous moment, Inz quickly weighed his options; to either mount the dira as quickly as possible and attempt an escape or try his luck at battle.
